Description:
Safe Harbor’s mission is to provide the support that survivors of sexual and domestic violence and human trafficking need to overcome their crisis and to transform their lives. We offer emergency shelter; housing, therapeutic counseling for adults and teens (age 13 and up) who experience domestic/dating violence and sexual violence or human trafficking, and children (age 5 and up) who witness violence in the home; case management, court advocacy, and a food pantry. and long-term transitional support. All services are available in English and Spanish. Our outreach department offers trainings in sexual/domestic violence and human trafficking; trainings in Healthy Relationships and Bystander Intervention for youth; and our Safe Bars program, which trains staff to recognize and respond to sexual aggression in places where alcohol is served.
